Question:

What are some of the up and coming suburbs in Austin for young professionals?

I am a 24 year old college grad moving down to Austin to work for Frost bank and would like to live around other young professionals. Is the south congress district the best place for people like me or should I live up north near Arboretum?

Answers:

Downtown and and South Congress, or SoCo, are favored by young professionals. There is a good choice of one and two bedroom apartments close to the Warehouse Entertainment District and many newly built apartments are available for rent or to buy. The funky shops, creative cuisine and live music make this a great area to live with like-minded professionals.
